  not bad for a romcom but like why did she stop acting crazy when she went to visit his family, and then never did it again, i feel like it was really far-fetched.

  I really don’t get why people are so obsessed with this movie. It was okay—nothing special, nothing life-changing about it. And before you say anything about how it was just two inexperienced guys who wrote this movie—YES, I CAN TELL. A typical trope about a genius with a hard life who doesn’t know how to love or receive love. This movie is empty inside, I’m sorry. The only thought-provoking moment was when Sean explained the perks of love that might initially appear as drawbacks, and how it’s beautiful to let somebody know you on that level.
