Souleymane's Story 2024
a very touching and grounded story, i was emotional throughout and super invested (as expected) into his situation. the cop scene was SO stressful, as most of the movie was honestly; films like this are so important considering the political climate, i’m glad it exists and hope it will inspire more to tell the stories of those who need it most.

after a couple of years waiting for this movie with higher and higher and higher expectations, i finally got to see it on a sunday morning imax screening (kind of perfect)
it was even better than i expected. it was impressive, fun, interesting and so on and so forth. the premise was already interesting on its own, but the directing and robert’s acting made it so much better; it’s kind of a bleak movie with bleak themes, some dark stuff…Translated from by
