Beautiful score, loved the sweaters. Adrien brody is great for sure. first half was pretty solid. second half was too pretentious for me to handle. Ambition blindsided Laszlo in the same way it did Corbet. srsly. 4 hours is too long of a journey to end with such a childish FU destination. sorry but come on. so predictable it hurts. don’t you see “america” isn’t your problem bro it’s your own ambition/competitive nature/chains of the past that is causing your pain. life is what you make it. seize the day and be kind to others. especially your wife.

riveting performance of the complexities of human relationships, marriage and what “we don’t see” behind closed doors. From the betrayal of the recording their fight to the use of another’s creative idea for their creative gain. both flawed people and both unlikable at times and i found myself judging them. yet their blind son reminded me of an important lesson. His gift to see past what most cannot, judgement. brilliant allegory for today’s time. Oh and dogs are perfect, but we already knew that.
