  Jeff Nichols came to my attention with Take Shelter, one of my favorite movies. I was delighted to see this movie on the big screen and witness his talent once again.

  Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Austin Butler and Toby Wallace are the standouts and their performances carry all the emotional beats the story has. Masculinity is explored in a very interesting way, is it aspirational or just cowardice?

  Absolutely deserved to watch it in theaters.

  Perfect movie that challenges the usual storytelling of blockbusters made in the US.

  No other movie has got this much heart and fuel this year. By all means the Must-Watch of the year.

  Children of Heaven is the story of Ali, a boy who lost his little sister's shoes and doesn't have money to buy her a new pair. This movie reminded me a lot of Where Is the Friend's Home? and now I'm 100% sure that the best movies about childhood can be found in iranian cinema, the way they portray kids experiencing guilt and the want and need of fixing their mistakes but being unable to is always heartbreaking.
