It looked so good. It was awful.
Zero story, terrible performances, great photography.
What’s the point of living through the end of the world if you forget how to feel?
If it weren’t for the Girl that arrives, everyone would have kept living under their script or textbook without even caring to reflect how they felt about everything.
I think this was the premise of the film but it got a little lost.
*sad and disappointed face*
The part that I’m must annoyed by is the cinematography and portrayal of Mexico City and beyond. We’ve come a long way from the Hollywood way to show Mexico and South America and this movie walks back to the cartoonish over-simplistic. Why choose a place bustling with energy and life only to create the opposite vibe so your character can look lonely?
Sorry, I’m not buying it.
The rest of the movie I don’t even want…
I keep coming up with scenes that could’ve made this better and removing all the ones that were just off.
Great actors, lousy writing, zero character develpment. The stars are just for the stars, actually.
The only thing that kept me interested were the costumes. Eye catching fabrics and patterns, specially Denzel’s wardrobe.
