The movie is good but they used horrible A.I. Upscaling for the Cinema re-release. Looks like ass and almost completely ruined the experience for me.
Just use the SD master and people will be fine with it, it won’t be sharp but least you don’t lose detail that way.

This Movie reminds me a lot of The Last Jedi in that it succeeded very well in trying to do something different but the Majority of Fans hated it because they want to see the same shit recycled over and over again.
Having read the Book, this was at times pretty painful to watch. Almost nothing of the Brilliance of the Original Story is translated well to the screen here, which results in the almost complete loss of the entire Subtext and message of the Book.
But i guess if you don't know the Original Story and just want to watch an enjoyable Horror Movie, you will have a decent time. Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise is clearly the standout in this, but he…
