An absolutely heartwarming film about coming to terms with age and having control over one’s agency. Charming, fun, and moving, this is the perfect feel good and giggle movie for anyone having a hard night. Thelma is hilariously sassy and sharp, and shares the story of a strong, stubborn woman who fights her own battles despite her age.

Coup! 2023
This thriller’s unsettling nature was well balanced by Monk’s charisma and humor, who did a phenomenal job at picking apart the life of a well known fraud. Though there were only a few characters, and at times I couldn’t hear some lines, this film is worth the watch. It’s fast paced and puts you on the edge of your seat in a way that has you second guessing whose side you’re on. I’m not the biggest fan of these kinds of movies, thus the 3 stars, I enjoyed it thoroughly (mostly due to the performances of the two male leads).
