Ready 2008
The first hour breezes by like a California wind, but after that, you start feeling the length of the runtime.
The comedy is elite, but it doesn’t justify the length, making you wonder if they should have introduced the current trend of making two part films back then. Haha.

Ratatouille 2007
A hard-hitting phrase like ‘Anyone can cook’ opens the film and presents itself as the face of the plot. It was really fire at first, but due to natural instinct, I just couldn’t revel in the fact that the whole kitchen was taken over by rats.
Nevertheless, a really solid film with great writing, sound, set design andd literally everything else.

Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire 2023
Commercial cinema at its best.
This time, I could better notice the masterful editing, screenplay, cinematography, well, I guess, everything.

Dunki 2023
The whole takeaway from Dunki is so weird and coming from someone like Hirani is straight baffling.
Ridiculing a whole streamlined immigration process by victimising the poor felt a bit unconvincing.
Somewhere in the movie, Hardy tries to justify illegal immigration which ended up being rather silly than witty.
This message(if it even is one) heldback the movie from being a near-perfect experience. It was funny, it had the best songs, it was narrated incredibly and most importantly it manages to touch your heart.
