Having Been on a South korean thriller binge these last couple of quarantine months. I somehow completely missed this gem of a movie.
The chaser is as gritty, bleak and gut-punching as it is entertaining and gripping. The movie is peppered with spots of solid dark humor, that helps the digestion of the absolutely horrid chain of events, brought on by the incompetence of the police force. Good Time 2017
Good time is indeed a good time. This movie does so many things right it’s hard to know where to start. Robert Pattinson is fantastic in the role of Connie, showing a deep sense of care for his brother Nick, while also being wholly irresponsible. The movie is visually striking, with a beautiful color pallet, haunting score and amazing chemistry between the characters.
This movie is worth watching just for the last 10 minutes, but I promise you will enjoy the rest of the movie as well.Translated from by
