I hate to be a chick flick hater of any kind but I just . Do not get the hype for this one. It felt like an awkward fever dream?? I couldn’t make sense of why anyone was doing what they were doing. Too British for me

An AMAZING documentary - start was a little slow as they definitely don’t show their full hand till 2/3 in. So interesting, going to obsess about it for months. Someone pls tell me what that man has been diagnosed with.

Truly fascinating to me that this has such high rankings but maybe I just don’t “get it”. Loud, violent, and gratuitously graphic, I was checking my watch a quarter way through. There are about 6 lines of dialogue in the whole thing and basically 2 make sense . If you like watching things get destroyed and watching people get killed in horrible ways - tune in! Also Chris Hemsworth is just not a convincing “evil sadist” . Sorry dude.

There’s nothing that keeps me glued to my seat like Mia Goth AND Dakota Johnson, not to mention it’s giving black swan set in 1970s Berlin, but this film is desperately lacking in one key element. BREVITY. 2 and. HALF hours for a thriller? Suspense can only build for so long. Great spooky vibes and some grotesque body horror, but anytime I leave a movie having to immediately search “ending explained” is not a good one to me. Amazing how this film is so long and yet says . So little.
