An excellent conclusion to the 2021 movie. I held off on making this review because I wanted to finish the book first. Villenueve's entry to finish the first book's content does an excellent job at adapting an unadaptable story. The Borderlands 2013
Deserves to be recognized as one of the better entries in a mediocre horror genre. Able to actually develop interesting characters and explores religion and religious beliefs through 3 people with entirely distinct relationships to the church and the supernatural. It slowly builds up more and more of what's actually going on, until the ending reveal which even as someone who doesn't get scared by horror easily and on rewatch is still very uncomfortable to watch.
