  i mean. it’s an emerald fennell movie. i almost turned it off when i saw her name (i just hated saltburn), and to be fair, this one isn’t bad, but it’s also not all it’s cracked up to be. it’s aesthetic for the sake of aesthetic (and i’m unsure of the fashion choices for carey mulligan), symbolism for the sake of symbolism, and the only actual good part is act 4. the rest of the movie is quite boring and her plan is kinda stupid overall
