As a viewer, I didn't like Brutalist at all. But when I looked
at it from an architect's perspective, I actually found it
interesting.
It's an intriguing film, but not in a good way. It feels just
like an architectural project- starting with a clean, simple
idea, but then compromising to accommodate other
influences in order to be seen or accepted. In the
process, it drifts far from its original concept, ending up
as a weak collage of disconnected ideas.…
