  I’ve never been less invested in two characters. They were uncompelling, awkward, inexperienced and although there is an understanding of the drive and motivation behind her sexual fantasies and the dynamic between them, the writers did nothing with it? it just falls flat. 
  Yawn.
  One of my two stars is entirely for antonio banderas.

  Guadagnino you outdid yourself this time!!!
  And everyone…everyone SERVED what needed to be served!!!
  if real life tennis isnt as exhilarating and electrifying as this..I DONT WANT TO SEE IT! I didnt realise I was holding my breath until the end when I was gasping for air ok!! Why do I feel like I was the one playing that last match..whilst also being the onlooker to an incredibly intricate and complex relationship.
  Im going to imagine this as the score to the background of my life from now on too.

  I just finished this and the tears are fresh in my eyes - what a beautiful and touching movie. I loved the music, the premise of exploring souls, purpose and all that it entails to live with this meaningful soul we must cherish. One of my favourites now.
