This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Very conflicted how I feel about this film - while it’s such a cute cosy film, I do think it leans into sooo many misogynistic tropes - mainly that the average looking male lead, with no redeemable qualities, who is a master manipulator, can say some jumble at the end of the film and magically end up with the girl, after treating her awfully the whole time.
No disrespect to Sally, I love her character a lot. But I do not think this is something to celebrate. And why do so many men I know idolise this film/Harry? He is insufferable!
