The 2.5 stars are solely for the cinematography and whoever did Emma Stone’s hair. This movie did not move me at all, and I’m shocked that people are lauding it as some sort of female empowerment movie. Having your protagonist engage in copious amounts of sex isn’t the radical feminist take men think it is. Overall I felt so bored in this movie. The dialogue and overall message didn’t mesmerize me and I just noticed myself rolling my eyes at most the scenes.
