Everyone made this movie seem scarier than it was. It explained nothing but not in a cool mystery way in a lame unfinished way. It made me squeamish with its graphics so that was horror like (I mean it's an autopsy). All the "twists" were easily predicted and honestly this was just a basic ass horror movie. Mid asf.

The color grading in this movie is beautiful. I love the stylistic choices in the editing that reflect the era, like the title cards. Understandably, with the genre the sexual themes...there are some questionable scenes. I would not recommend watching this with any family members... Overall the movie achieved exactly what it was intended and took the exact route I expected. It was a fun watch! And was good relative to the complete slop Hollywood has been producing in the horror genre. However, I think it isn't as out of the box as everyone makes it seem. All in all, I'd give it a 7/10.
