this was a pleasant surprise in its cinematography choices - some really excellent - both funny and chilling - shots foreboding the fall of America, for all intents and purposes. Both Sebastian stan and Jeremy strong are absolutely uncanny in their respective roles. an uncomfortable watch but deftly executed.

no central conflict… no central intrigue or driving sense of wonder regarding the life of dylan… a muddled music history lesson. profoundly hollow. chalamet a bit overexposed these days and not immersive enough a performer to occupy a figure like dylan in character. elle fanning the most engaging element of the film. music nice but I can stream dylan songs anywhere.
