loved this movie so much. have been meaning to watch it for the longest time because i remember loving the book as a child and so glad i finally did. all the girls are so lovely and each one is so relatable and they’re all on such separate journeys yet are still so connected and their sisterhood is so lovely. i cried multiple times - amy’s second to jo speech, laurie’s love confession to jo, beth’s death, and i’m sure other times too! what a gorgeous gorgeous movie, i will absolutely rewatch this many times.

haven't seen this movie in years and turns out i barely remembered any of the plot other than the running??? like i must've been about 10 the last time i saw this movie and holy shit i missed SO many jokes and references that i just didn't get at all and i appreciate now watching it as an adult lmao. but yeah this movie is so great. just so heartwarming and lovely but also a little bit devastating :)
