A fantastic and fragmented story of how unnecessarily complicated we as human beings make our relationships with one another. Not perfect, but I don't think it needed to be.

Holy shit.

I had worried that this film would've not aged very well—and, in some regards, its campiness is a bit tonally out of wack—but in the midst of this bloated market of nonstop thrillride quipfests, it was a bit of a refreshing change of pace. Exposition dumps are rampant but the character writing is generally strong enough that they're not too annoying, the action is entertaining and dramatic (wires abound!), and struggles are presented and resolved in creative and interesting ways.

A good movie that isn't quite great, but I'll take it over much of today's superhero fare.
