Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire 2024
The action scenes in these movies go so hard and the CGI looks great. I still don’t care about the human characters, maybe Trapper but that’s pretty much it. Not sure why Bernie is in this movie, he doesn’t do much lmao. I think he’s there for the comic relief but I didn’t laugh once.

I definitely had the wrong expectations going into this movie but the more I understand it, the better it is. This film is very slow paced and it has a realistic aspect to it in terms of what would happen if aliens actually did come to earth. Amy Adams puts on a great performance but the writers didn’t give Jeremy Renner’s character much to do. Cinematography and CGI was great. I watched the trailer after the movie and I gotta say, I wouldn’t recommend watching the trailer before the movie because it completely throws off your expectations and might leave you a little disappointed.

The Tomorrow War 2021
I can honestly say that I enjoyed a good portion of this movie. Everything involving the aliens was really good. Creature design, sound design and the CGI was all well done. However, there are some plot holes. Overall this is a good dumb fun action movie.

Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire 2023
Really disappointed with this film. The characters needed to be expanded on more, they needed way more development. Most of the fight scenes were pretty shit, the emotional scenes had zero emotion, and Charlie Hunnam’s Irish accent was god awful it was so distracting. Honestly I was pretty surprised by how bad some things were in this film. Snyder is usually pretty good with slow motion, cinematography, and fight scenes but it was mostly pretty bad in this film. I hope they use the robot more in the sequel because it was pretty much the best part of this film.
