i couldn’t really understand why sue had zero compassion/so much contempt for elizabeth until i realized they have entirely separate consciousnesses? but then it’s like… what benefit does the substance even have for elizabeth/why would she keep taking it if she doesn't get to experience the supposed benefits of youth? i fw the themes but it’s incredibly heavy handed
