  I decided to watch Hiacynt (2021) because I saw a Tik Tok edit of Robert and Arek and the moment I realised it’s based on true events from 1985-1987 I knew I found another Polish gem. It’s a beautifully tragic story with gorgeous visuals and bunch of good looking men so I very much enjoyed it. The house party scene got me smiling like an idiot, always happy to see so much queer joy, even in the middle of cops’ war with the community. Let me finish by saying; Robert better find Arek before I do, what a man! Big fan of Hubert Miłkowski. 4.5/5 ⭐️
