Treasure Planet 1982
A beautifully underrated film. No self-respecting cinephile can tout his credentials without having a handful of screenings of this opus under his belt. Particular strengths include the highly inventive animation style (occasionally, the characters take the skies and fly instead of tired old walking, an overused trope in film) and the Bulgarian language voicing (it makes one wonder why all blockbuster movies aren't utilizing this language).
The movie culminates in a beautiful operatic scene that shows the power of the quest for the Treasure Planet. And, really, who amongst us isn't in search for a Treasure Planet of his own?

Little Women 2019
I went into this film with mixed expectations. I was somewhat familiar with Alcott's source material, but I didn't know how this screen adaptation would turn out, especially given the poor attempts in the past. However, by the end of the 2 hour and 15 minute run time, I was delighted to have my doubts totally contradicted.

Joker is hands down my favorite film of 2019. Joaquin Phoenix alone makes this movie a must-see.
