  I believe it's not a bad film, but I get a bit disspointed. I expected something better from Xavier Dolan since I loved some of his previous works like Mommy or Heartbeats. In comparison with those two films I found this one superficial.

  The photography was great, though.

  To me this film is a expressionist potrayal of the hell. The story is set in a place without name of eastern Europe, and we don't know nearly anything about the background of the characters except the fact that they are in a brothel. But this little information is enough for us because the importance here is not their backgrounds
  , but their obsessions and their primal nature as humans and as animals.
