Saving Private Ryan 1998
Good acting. Nice cinematography.
The movie didn’t highlight the goal of the narrative. As a viewer I didn’t feel the reason as to why they sacrifice soldiers to save one guy named Ryan. And in the end I didn’t have a feeling of catharsis because the goal and the reason that they were fighting wasn’t highlighted.
I would have loved it to be a film about fighting to to free the people from war and fighting to get ALL of the soldiers home. But instead it was a pointless rescue mission about saving one guy named RyanTranslated from by
