Little Manhattan 2005
this movie would come on cable probably every other week when i was in first grade. i don’t remember much about it, i just remember wishing i was 11 and then crying at the ending every time. I watched it again for the first time in almost 15 years tonight. i wish i was 11 and still cried at the ending.

More like a complete SNOOZEFEST! I normally try to keep it short but sorry this was genuinely the worst movie I have seen in 2024. The pacing was absolutely dreadful, and Chalamet plays the most insufferable, whiny man child of all time. Also what exactly was he struggling so hard against? Giving very much Harry Styles AOTY acceptance speech “this doesn’t happen to people like me very often.” In summary, this is the sad product of a film industry which devalues original stories in favor of half-baked biopics and blockbuster franchises. With that being said, I would absolutely love a Joan Baez biopic.
