  “Eraserhead” is Lynch’s fantastical take on a rather cliche story, and he could not have done it better. This twisted decadent dystopia that Lynch created, full of abnormal family dinners, and dysmorphic Fitzgerald-esque female singers makes for such a great take on this almost overused (now) idea of “boy dates girl, girl is pregnant.” I love movies that stick with me, Eraserhead might be the best example of it. Although I have only seen it twice, every scene seems to forever stick with me and in my head.
