pretty sure i already watched this when i was 15, but my memory is so shitty i couldn’t remember a thing… a blessing and a curse
ANYHOW what i never do is pussy out of a boring film but in this particular case first 30 minutes felt like 2 hours due to everybody yapping incessantly just like in every woody allen picture and i was just about to give up and then louis ck appeared
IN CONCLUSION cate is brilliant and it was amusing to see her play a delusional beige snob in an elongated meltdown

in truth my expectations were sky high and i was totally unprepared to be bored with something that screamed amusement.
one thing i liked is pairing anna von hausswolff track with the blood flood scene, so maybe if the film lasted 16 minutes as song does, it would make for a good music video.

i was trying to focus really really hard but it felt like standing in a queue and i have no issue with things that are confusing, unfinished and random — but it just wasn’t amusing ot interesting or touching.
elements i enjoyed: the car crash motive, the death of a messiah with resurrecting powers and depiction of an architect with god complex.
