Happy as Lazzaro 2018
This movie is visually incredible. The acting is so beautiful, and the story is heartbreaking. It’s yet another testament that bad things happen to good people, that bad things happen to morally grey people, and that bad things happen to bad people too. This movie made me feel lonely in a artful sort of way, and reminded me to be kind and helpful- but being too kind and helpful could lead people to treat me as badly as every single character in this film had treated Lazzaro.
