Mickey 17 2025
Spot on. Dying for a billionaires “mission”, the egos, the “hidden” agenda of colonization/eugenics.
And it was sooo fucjing funny. Just the perfect amount of world building, humor, sci fi and pacing for me. Pang in the chest how Mickey justified his torture and repeated dying to himself. Living vs dying for a cause separate from us.
All the actors killeddd, oh mama. Mark Ruffalo & Toni Collette rocked together.

We Live in Time 2024
went to the early screening with a Q&A 😎
It was so great and really human. I cried at parts I didn’t expect because every moment was done with such tenderness. I feel it explored love as quiet dignity, there wasn’t a ton of dialogue but the way the couple showed up for one another was impactful.
I mostly loved the nuance. No one was simply receiving their value from one relationship. This movie also feels like something I’ll return to many times and discover more ways to resonate in it, because I’m already feeling a miss for it.
