  This is one of those movies that makes me feel so many familiar, nostalgic, and confrontational emotions that by the time it gets to the end I’m sobbing without entirely being sure why. 

  This movie is like if Ladybird and Eighth Grade had a baby; it’s so real and authentic while comedic and romantic, and somehow is exactly what being a teenager was like while also being everything I really wanted and wished my teenage hood to be.
