This was too sad of a movie to have watched on the plane. Pretty amazing that former inmates were part of the cast. So touching to see the connections they made in such brutal circumstances.

Two men in my life cried while watching this movie, so naturally, I had to watch it. I, too, cried - basically throughout the whole movie. But I was especially hysterical during Oliver’s speech.
Vincent was kind of a piece of shit, but I guess the point of the movie is that people can do bad things and still be good people. Very touching that Oliver considered him to be a saint.
The soundtrack fit perfectly. Loved the Brooklyn setting. Shoutout to Ally Fong who I didn’t even know was in this movie.
