“Satan is heating his pokers for you, you blasphemous heathens” was not the phrase I was expecting to hear come out of Tim Curry’s mouth in the G-rated Muppet pirate movie.
(It took me way too long to realize that I was actually watching this in German. I thought they all had accents or something and I just wasn’t processing what they were saying. Nope.)
I watched this while I was writing to get inspiration for creating good dialogue, but just ended up depressed that I’ll never be able to write dialogue this good
