  This movie is kinda bad and anti-American. It’s amazing bc Hugh Grant is in it and for no other reason. Carrie is super uncompelling and their love story is problematic and hard to support. Or I was missing something. Lmk

  i felt very stressed out watching this - mostly because it was such a clear depiction of emotionally immature parents damaging a child. Ren was played incredibly and the cinematography was so beautiful. will need to re-watch
