There may be a plot to this movie. Maybe not? Who cares, Robert Duvall robs a bunch of people! Joe Don Baker! Robert Ryan is a mob boss? Also there's Karen Black in a role that's not actually a role. But she's definitely in the movie!

Intermezzo: A Love Story 1939
A rather schmaltzy melodrama that's only notable as being Ingrid Bergman's first Hollywood movie. Direction from Gregory Ratoff is rather flat, and Bergman, whilst the best part of the movie, hardly imposes the level of charm that she would develop only a few years on. I must say that Ratoff does manage to sneak a couple of interesting shots in here though.

One of Our Aircraft Is Missing 1942
I think this is in fact a brilliant piece of war propaganda. I think even Goebbels would've appreciated it if he ever saw it. The bit towards the end about occupying Germans hiding for cover during the air raid hits especially hard.
Though it's nowhere near The Archers' best work, it's still worth a view, even if as just a historical artifact.
