  I cannot for the life of me figure out why this movie was received so poorly by so many.
  It's a mean spirited, cruel, gritty and utterly bad ass close to the series and frankly it deserves some god damn well earned credit. The protagonist characters are emotionally acted and compassionate figures, the villains are a revolting, reprehensible reflection of a very real criminal world that needs to be treated exactly how John treats it.
