Even though he mentioned death throughout the movie, I didn’t expect Lester’s death at the end of the movie. I thought he was a creep during the movie (because of his crush on Angela), but he totally redeemed himself when he decided against taking her virginity. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
Personally, the book is way better. The movie seems to leave out some key plot points (mainly surrounding Sejanus’ character), and seemed rushed. Even with this in mind, the movie does display Snow’s downfall incredibly well and it felt like the viewer could understand why he is the way he is more after watching. The book shows this better, though!
