Sean Baker can do no wrongs. Just different versions of rights. In this film - the honest nature he usually captures was certainly still there, but the rawness (although present) was replaced with something that almost made it more enjoyable for a larger audience. Did not spend 1 second of this film not enjoying myself. Thank you Sean for doing what you do.

Sequence a bit strange. But performances were incredible—conceptually very real. And some gorgeous shots in here.

Triangle of Sadness 2022
A big WOW. The poignancy in which he made the film simultaneously relatable and hyperbolic was beyond me. I laughed so hard I cried and I wanted to cry during all the moments he managed to transform depressing realities about the world that we're constricted by into satirical touches of humour. There was a point at the beginning of Part 3 that I was like, "Fuck, another one? It should have ended there," and it coasted for a bit, but it picked right back up. Fucking brilliant. Can’t wait to watch more of this genius’s body of work.
