I just Saw this movie at the drive in with Ashley and was so disappointed. There’s so much Willy Wonka lore that could’ve been shown like how he actually got his crazy ingredients or the places he adventured too before starting the factory. Instead he showed up already being a chocolate maker and having all these insanely magical ingredients and they basically just played town all movie. I also think it would’ve been sick if they gave more nods to the movie, because when they did so with the golden ticket at the end it was awesome. Ashley agreed
