there was a lot going on... something i feel the need to watch again after hearing other ppls takes but on first watch it did not rlly impress me
i feel like a lot of the scenes were disjointed and it was quite heavy handed in a lot of its metaphors that did not really end up going anywhere. also the character development?? felt very sudden and motivations seemed to come out of nowhere at times.

a comfort movie to me somehow
i appreciate it for its unique art style that has me asking the whole time how they even made it and i look forward to finding more films that evoke the same feeling!
very on the nose with its animal rights/dehumanization of the "other" allegory but done in an interesting way
