Is truly unlistenable.. and accent work from Selena Gomez that affirms to me… that the buzz this film is getting is really guided by its celebrity casting and terrible attempt to center a trans narrative. The gaze of a straight white man is all over the handling and writing of a Trans identity, and fetishization of Mexican culture.
