  This film encourages the stereotype that mentally ill people are deadly monsters. The acting was terrible, and there were so many major plot lines that weren't revealed until the last 30 minutes. It all felt crammed-in and as if it were done more for the shock value rather than the actual story. The only reason I gave it more than half a star is because I recognized the whole, "committing murder based off of an author's book so it get's pinned on the author," plot. This could have been a really good movie, but it was so horribly done.
