  Didn't like it. The movie is just made to be gory. Its story is not particularly interesting, typical poor guys turning into powerful druglords and screwing their lifes up.

  Even though his character is good, Al Pacino doesn't look Cuban at all. His fake accent makes every line he says feel unauthentic.

  Great movie overall, should have seen it before.

  Nevertheless, Commodus wasn't as evil as they portray him, there are many historical inaccuracies and Maximus is probably a Mary Sue.

  The movie is beautifully shot and the music is awesome.

  However, the story is awful. Every single "love story" in this movie is full of infinite cringe. The protagonist is a resentful person that gives on hate and harms everyone while the plot makes it seem like a normal thing because he was harmed as a child and now he's living his life.

  I thought that was on purpose to make him seem like an asshole but the movie ends…
