Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
Eh, I liked it to an extent but definitely felt it could’ve been better. It was a bit of a mess, and Strange himself isn’t that interesting in his own film. I also don’t like the abrupt switch in Wanda’s characterization and feel it should’ve been done slower and more naturally. The direction carries the movie, as does the concept. It felt like a movie that was both overly complicated for causal fans and didn’t give us super fans enough.

Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
Such an abomination. Humor didn’t hit at all, Thor was a joke, they wasted Gorr and Christian Bale. The movie didn’t feel consequential at all, I have no idea where Thor's character goes from here. It kind of makes me annoyed too because it could’ve been so much better. Jane Foster’s story and Gorr’s are great concepts that go nowhere in this movie, and it’s super upsetting.

Great concept, super mid though. The story didn’t draw me in. I didn’t care about any of these characters. I did like the cinematography and the concept is obviously what’s keeping it from being rated any lower.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022
I don’t know how to feel about this one. It was alright, especially as a memorial film for Chadwick Boseman. I think Shuri as the black panther is still not something I’m not sold on though. I found the pacing kinda meh, and thought the movie overall was not overly interesting.
