  Nevertheless, even chipped, a rough diamond remains profoundly aesthetic.

  Gladiator II 2024

  Seeing this make me think about the man in perdition who saw Gladiator and thought…

  "I didn’t know that the prequel of Pirates of the Caribbean was set in gladiatorial times with Russell Crowe acting like Jack Sparrow..."

  And now I feel like him, except it was Paul Mescal and I would have preferred that it looked more like Pirates of the Caribbean.

  Wong Kar-Wai signe encore une fois un chef-d’œuvre, une fresque spirituelle, d’un homme, habité d’un art somptueux, ayant traversé l’histoire de la Chine du XXe siècle.
  Un opéra du grand art que sont les arts martiaux et de la vie d’un grand maître invaincu, « aucun art n'arrive à dépasser le ciel et être aussi solide que la terre, en deux mots horizontal et vertical : Kung Fu ».
