Kung Fu Panda 3 2016
The cast is absolutely stacked and I enjoyed all the voice acting. The story starts off really cool but it felt kind of predictable and fast compared to the first 2 movies. The sound and animation were beautiful but the movie suffered from a lackluster plot.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
I think people are expecting a cinematic masterpiece. This is a kids movie for children and an effort by Nintendo to sell more merchandise so the story is obviously not important. Overall it was super fun to watch and a lot of callbacks to my childhood. Very nostalgic and surreal to see on the big screen!
