Good watch as a moderately liberal catholic. Thought the drama and script was superb. Haven’t seen mean girls but definitely 12 angry men vibes from this one. Stanley tucci is really dramatic lol.
Only critique was I thought that Cardinal Benitez was really underutilized. It felt like he played such a minor, underspoken role and was chosen by process of elimination because all the other candidates were terrible. I wish he had a greater role in the movie and we saw more of his dialogue with the other cardinals.
