It somehow feels good now... somewhat special, different, unique... Now instead of seeing a poorly executed drama with bad dialogue (which was what my initial impression was)- I now see a beautiful stop motion, with creepily realistic attention to the small details and a plot/structure which has totally gripped me.
In a world where there's an abundance of souless sequels, remakes and franchise films this absolutely stands out to me as an anomaly.
