  i mean, i really did enjoy this movie. it made me laugh and cry; it’s a very moving story, i think we all can agree on that. 
  however, i do wanna question the fact that the helper is a black character when he isn’t irl? why could this be? well, probably because a movie with clearer dichotomies would be more interesting… idk, to me, i felt a little bit of a racist tone to the whole character of Driss, and yeah, not to mention the fatshaming:( 

  it’s a beautiful story, but i think there were a couple of things that were a bit off.

  ever since emma chamberlain made a reference to wes anderson films, i knew i needed to watch them. this is my 2nd and i really liked this one, and i’m sure that i am going to watch it again at some point! i love his aesthetics in his films so far- the colors, the outfits, the buildings, the places, the music, honestly everything hihi
